I wouldn't even say PoMPyro mages would be the worst, I used it back but I discovered something that worked . Nothing specifically said you had to wow classic gold move all of the way down in a spec, so I used to go down in the Fire spec to get Blast Wave, and far enough down in Frost for Ice Block.
The main kicker of it had been Fire spec was fucking absurd in Vanilla, Ignite being the key reason . A passive talent that turns critical hits into dots which damage 25% additional afterward was mad, a Fire mage could only junk Scorch and Fire Blast to buy classic wow gold kill anything readily. But the frost facets of the spec concentrated more on the slows, CC's and vulnerabilities. You could make Frost Nova far better, and also the impedes from Frost Bolts.
ANY rated Frost bolt. Since Fire spec was the primary spec used for harm in pvp in this circumstance, that a Tank 1 Frostbolt was used on enemies to keep them coming after being Frost Nova'd. The 1 Frost Bolt had a cast time than Scorch did, that had been the casting Fire capability.
It did fuck all for damage, but the gradual effect was in as much full force as your highest position Frost bolt. The reason you stopped at Blast Wave Fire was since you didn't need anything under it. Combustion promising critical s wasn't too big a deal when you crit all the time anyway, which I can't state how or why was the scenario, but it was stupidly frequent in PvP with as little as Blue tier pvp gear.
