How many times has your laptop crashed with work in progress? You certainly do not want to lose what you were working on especially when it has to be submitted before the deadline. To avoid this scenario from happening, you need to make sure that you have backed up your important files and saved them to another storage device (such as your USB flash drive or external hard drive). However, backing up your data can be quite challenging if you do not know where and how to store your files in the first place. Luckily, windows 10 keys provide you accessto some easy-to-use tools that will let you back up your important files right away!

Improved Performance

Microsoft made a huge effort to make Windows faster, and it shows. Boot times are up to twice as fast, file copying is much quicker, and everyday tasks like switching between apps is more responsive than ever. This might be thanks to Microsoft’s Fluent Design system, which puts animations on top of everything in Windows so that everything feels smooth. And then there’s Cortana, who pops up with information about how long it will take you to get home when you type it into your Start menu. Now she’ll also search through your content—like photos and documents—to help you find what you need. It's a subtle but impressive improvement in speed.

Personalization

With your windows 10 key, there is an option to personalize your user account with a picture. If you choose to do so, you can log into your computer and see that background image each time. Additionally, if you sign into another account on your computer (whether it be an administrator or standard), that person’s account picture will also appear in these spots. It is important to note that you can personalize more than just those two default places on a computer; for example, if you have multiple user accounts and use folders within other accounts as well, then clicking on that folder would bring up your home screen so long as you are signed in under one of those other user accounts.

Cortana

This is Microsoft’s version of Siri, in that it’s a voice-controlled personal assistant. However, Cortana also has personality and can suggest things for you to do or see. For example, you could ask Cortana to help you plan a vacation or tell her to remind you to bring an umbrella tomorrow. Another cool trick: Ask Cortana what’s playing at your local movie theater and she’ll pull up showtimes on your computer (or tell her not just what movie is showing but when). If she doesn't know, she'll prompt you to look online via Bing.

Office Mobile

With your windows 10 license, you’ll get access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote—and it works on your PC, tablet and phone. Not only does that mean you have easy access to your most important documents on any device, but it also means that if someone needs to make changes to a document while you’re away from your desk (or computer), they can open it right up in Word.

Xbox App

If you have an Xbox 360, you’ll be right at home with its integration in Windows 10. With it, you can stream games from your console to any computer connected to your network (in addition to any Xbox One devices). And if you don’t yet own an Xbox One, Microsoft will give away free copies of Halo 5: Guardians, Forza 6 and Sunset Overdrive for a limited time when upgrading. In addition to streaming games, you can also use it as a media player for your movies and TV shows in 1080p high definition. It’s all part of Microsoft’s push toward converging gaming between consoles and computers.
