New Jordan 2020, All-Star Weekend is just around the corner, and Jordan Brand will debut the long-awaited Air Jordan 3 “Cardinal.” The shoe bears a striking resemblance in color scheme to the eponymous Air Jordan 7 from 1992, albeit reminiscent of MJ's third signature. Of these, the Elephant print is undoubtedly the most eye-catching, as it features bolder, more pronounced cracks at the toe, eyestay and heel. The upper is made from white knurled leather, while the colorway's focal points "Cardinal Red" and "Light Curry" accentuate the adjacent accents.
In 2020 Cheap Jordans, Virgil Abloh collaborated with the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the multi-faceted man's contributions to music, fashion and footwear. Sneaker fans embraced the unprecedented spread of Off-White x Nike samples he's produced over the years, with some standout samples inspiring excitement for the partnership for years to come. The Off-White x Air Jordan 4 in the iconic "Bred" colorway is one such sneaker.
Retro Jordan 2021, Virgil's interpretation of the shoe is defined by sheer layers and materials, as demonstrated in the women's Off-White Jordan 4 "Sail." It was hoped that this black/red rendition would eventually be available to the public, and the rumor mill started to pick up speed. Sneakers are one of the subjects of the exhibition; this one is by Bernie Gross of Extra Butter. Jordan Brand recently confirmed to Complex that the Off-White Jordan 4 “Bred” samples were built exclusively for the MCA Chicago show, and there are currently no plans to release them to the public. In retrospect, it's clear that Virgil just wanted to share as much of himself with the world as possible while battling a silent disease that would eventually take his life by the end of 2021.
New Jordan Release, While Nike is ingrained in global culture, the company is only 50 years old. To mark the occasion, the North American company has launched the "Since 1972" collection, which includes the Easter-themed VaporMax Plus. The Air Max Plus-inspired upper is a mix of buff, mint, and aqua shades, with the brightest hue falling on the heel. Palm tree-inspired TPU cladding along the spine features a greenish-blue hue reminiscent of the brand's previous spring releases. While the North American institution may have drawn inspiration from some of the most iconic colorways of the past half-century, this hybrid has an identity of its own thanks to its design and occasion-specific branding on the sockliner. Underfoot, the evolution of the Air Max cushioning solution opts for a near-colorless ensemble, allowing the gradient of the upper to take center stage.
