I was able to read a bit this year, but I rarely commented on this blog. Next year, I would like to write a record of my book, including my past, and my impressions, because it has the meaning of a personal record.
Well, here's a chat. Recently, not only in recent years, but also in any era, the people who can be called the sultry profession or the pillow profession have become popular. Imagine a certain Ikegami famous for television.
Their special feature is that they boast that much reading. Certainly I read a lot of books. However, I did not study any specialty deeply. The story of a really well-educated person is still interesting, but it's a waste of life to be involved in someone who goes on television, talks with a face, or writes with a shallow knowledge of philosophy or religion.
He preaches that politics, economy, and philosophy are necessary to live better. For that reason, there is no content, and only high-school and college students who are friendly can deceive.
His reading is heavily biased and his knowledge of natural sciences is extremely poor. It is better to be careful of such a cultural performer.
Finally, I will write how to choose a natural science book. It is important for natural sciences to choose a book that is as close to the original as possible. For example, there is no need to read what is described by entertainers in a conversational way, such as saying, "Even those who are not good at mathematics can understand." In the case of relativity theory, it is better to read the "Relativity Theory Overview" used in university textbooks rather than "fun relativity theory that can be understood even in the humanities" (a title I thought appropriately).
There is an image that such a book is esoteric, but it is not.
Some books in literary arts are written in confusing and esoteric terms for the purpose of showing off one's own creativity or for fading the faint content. But science books are written just for the sake of the reader's understanding. Therefore, if it feels esoteric, it is a lack of knowledge of the reader and is not the responsibility of the author. You should read high school-level mathematics before you read even on a circuit.
Some argue that there is no such time, but you should give up your right to say that it's radiation and energy.
For those who do not have knowledge of natural science at the junior high school level, reading books such as "Modern Physics from the Perspective of French Philosophy" (a title I thought of appropriately) would make me a misunderstanding educator. Almost anything that easily links physics and mathematics to religion and philosophy can be considered a flinch. Introductory books other than authors who properly publish papers in physics and mathematics should not be tampered with.
