In the Delirium league, the new 3.10 content gives each area an item called the Mirror of Delirium. Players will see a ghostly reflection of their character in the Mirror and touching it causes the player character to enter a special Delirium state. In this state, the area becomes covered in mist and any existing monsters gain new abilities, while other new monsters will also spawn, acting as a manifestation of the player character's fears.

Frost Blades Assassin Budget Fast Mapper

As of 3.7 Frost Blades has received massive buffs that allow the build to achieve around one million DPS with just budget gear. It’s the perfect time for beginners to try it out. Reaching Red maps and finishing T16 shouldn’t be a problem for this build though it can be sketchy on Hardcore Delirium if you don’t invest enough into Life. Since this build utilizes whirling blades as a movement speed, you’ll need to make the most use of it to dodge monster attacks because this build is not meant to facetank anything! Frost Blades builds during Delirium are definitely HC, SC and SSF viable. If you do play on HC and you feel too squishy, get more life.

Ancestral Warchief Totem Uber Lab Farmer

The Ancestral Warchief Totem build is going to be a very strong build choice for the Delirium expansion because you can essentially swap to any other melee build if you get bored of it. Nonetheless, Ancestral Warchief Totems are going to melt packs, as well as bosses with minimal to no gear so essentially it’s very low budget. AW totems scale incredibly well into the end-game so you can use them even to level 100 if you wanted to and they make running Delves a breeze. Due to this builds’ high armor and life, you’ll be able to Buy Exalted Orb and make a lot of currency fast in the Delirium league (one Uber Lab run usually will make you like 20-30 chaos of profit per run)

Juggernaut Molten Striker – Ultimate Tank Melee

As you know, the melee status of the last two leagues has been poor, and for the expansion of Delirium, the melee has also been overhauled. Even before the melee enhancement, Molten Strike weapons can often face many things and are the weapon of choice for boss killers. This Molten Fencing Master can reach 9,000 horsepower, 80% Maximum Resists and 1.7m DPS which results in very fast clear speed and easy profit from Uber Lab and running people through bosses. The Build is HC, SC, and SSF viable.

Tectonic Slam Juggernaut Mapper/Delver

This is a very powerful option if you plan on doing delves and farming maps quickly as the AoE on the construction slam is large, and you will clear everything shortly. It's important to note that although this build will work for most content on a low budget, you can't expect it to wipe out endgame bosses without a lot of investment-although if you do decide on a boss, you can always trade-in strikes. This version is workable with Hardcore, Softcore, and SSF.

Crit Consecrated Path Chieftain

Consecrated Path is a very popular construct for the Delirium league because it can produce high damage output while maintaining high survivability through leech and other sustain. The best thing about Dedication is that it's very sturdy and easy to use, so you can also use it effectively as a leveling skill. Overall, Build is a viable solution for SC, HC, and SSF with a relatively low budget.

Bladeflurry Assassin Beginner friendly

Blade Flurry Assassin build is really powerful as it is a versatile and fun boss killer setup whilst also being able to leech a lot of health and take a lot of hits. This build offers a relatively fast playstyle that has solid (but not ultra fast) clear speed with high single target damage for melting bosses and can be comparable to other builds from our list of the best Delirium beginner builds.

Arc Witch Map Farmer and Delver

Self cast Arc builds are not that popular anymore but they’re still very strong and fun to play. Arc will carry you through the leveling phase on a low budget (3L is usually fine) and with enough investment it can be a really strong end-game build which can shock and freeze enemies at the same time, usually one Arc cast will be enough to clear a pack and move on to the next one. Map clear speed is really good and single target doesn’t lack either, it performs exceptionally well in Delves and other high density content.

Armageddon Brand Tank Uber Elder on a budget

Armageddon Brand has been ridiculously strong ever since it was introduced to the game. This very low budget tank starter build for the PoE Delirium league is perfect for any new players because it can level pretty much on a three link with as little to no gear. Additionally, since Armageddon Brand has auto-aim and all you have to do is cast it once or twice to clear whole packs of monsters, it’s really safe to play because you have more time to dodge things.
