It's been quite a couple of days for Fortnite items lovers. Last week, a captured scene from a match of Battle Royale went viral, showing streamer Muselk attempting to rescue someone trapped onto the side of the island, until accidentally killing them using a ATK buggy in true tragi-comic fashion.

It get so popular, in fact, the Epic Games itself acknowledged the failed rescue attempt by posting the movie in all of its glory on the Fortnite Twitter account, where you can view it for yourself below.

Now, Fortnite fans around the globe are trying to hold funerals for Chappadoodle, meeting in the gravestone - directly from the conflict bus - and putting their weapons away and pickaxes to pay respects to a fallen comrade.

Regrettably, not everyone has been playing nicely, and a few are using these in-game gatherings as chances to rack up kills and generally cause more mayhem in a time that's assumed to be held sacred. Tut tut.
