Fast forward a couple more years and today OSRS gold is now the successful game, much to the resentment of many RS3 players, who were determined that EoC would bring in new players and reestablish the sport. The divisiveness round the roll from EoC was fairly bad, and it's lingered around to this day.THANK YOU that makes so much sense.

I stopped playing before EoC apparently (had no idea what this was until reading in this sub) however I have vague memories of the game changing in bizarre ways before I stopped playing. I also recall when RS3 came out and I tried it, it was still fresh and I loathed it. I'm really glad OSRS is out but I don't understand the rivalry, or that which seems to be a rivalry. I guess there will always be toxic people on each side trying to start unnecessary drama, that appears the be the way the gaming world works.Plus keep in mind that the competition is also due in part to the shared resources between the games.

OSRS has less funds from Jagex despite getting more players, which rubs a few gamers the wrong way (personally I do not think that it's a bad thought, less devs means less demanding updates to potentially spoil the game again).Perhaps it is a hot take, however I believe OSRS is far less demanding with the tools it requires for upgrades, especially in the graphics department. When you compare places like Korrund in OSRS with The Arc in RS3, it's pretty clear an even supply of manpower would not be honest, given the uneven workload.RS3 also requires a bigger team to deal with an extra decade worth of spaghetti code, in Addition to having a pretty dang big team devoted exclusively to MTX, which is... somethingI am just getting back into Runescape again after playing a lot in the early 2000s.

I've been enjoying the battle a lot more in RS3 than I did when I played before since there was practically no interaction at the old battle. I am genuinely curious, what are/were the Rsgoldfast overall complaints about it from the community?EOC spent well over two years needing persistent fixes for to the current condition; at launch it was, and I use this with real seriousness, almost unplayable out of maging.
