Structure and working principle of impact crusher

Recently, there is a sudden equipment in the mining machinery market that has quietly become popular, which is a impact crusher. The impact crusher adopts new manufacturing technology, adopts the special structure design such as heavy rotor design, unique plate hammer locking system, replaceable inside lining plate, etc. the finished products are cubic, without tension and crack, outstanding performance and good particle shape, and can crush various coarse, medium and fine materials (granite, limestone) with particle size no more than 500mm and compressive strength no more than 350Mpa The attack crusher is widely used in various industries such as ore crushing, railway, expressway, energy, cement, chemical industry, construction and so on.

What is the structure of the impact crusher? The impact crusher is mainly composed of attack plate, plate hammer, roller wheel, roller wheel bearing, pressing and adjusting device and its driving device.

The breaking adopts a unique design structure, and the clearance between the attack plate and the plate hammer can be adjusted. It can effectively control the discharging granularity, good particle shape, the product is cubic, the feeding port is large, the crushing cavity is high, and the material hardness is high. The process of crushing is simplified byattack, and the multi-stage crushing is changed into single section crushing, which reduces the equipment cost of the concentrator. It provides a low cost solution to customers, which has less unit operation cost, wide range of materials, adjustable discharge size and diversified crushing specifications, so it is popular among many customers in the market.

When the impact crusher is working, the material block is fed from the feed port, and the feeding block falls on the top of the grate screen. The small material block falls to the lower part of the shell through the grate joint, and the large pieces of material slide onto the rotor along the screen surface. A plate hammer with a certain height is fixed on the circumference of the rotor, and the rotor is rotated at high speed by the motor through V-belt action.

The material block falling on the rotor is impacted by the high-speed rotating plate hammer, and then it hits the attack plate at high speed after obtaining kinetic energy, then bounces back from the attack plate, and collides with the material thrown by the rotor in the crushing area. The space composed of screen, rotor, attack plate and chain screen is called a shock zone; the space between the plate and rotor is the second impact zone. After the materials are impacted and broken in the first impact zone, they enter the second impact zone and then be crushed again. The broken material is discharged through the discharge port at the lower part of the casing.
