Let's look at this from this fanbase's perspective . Diablo's fanbase is made up of. Each new game introduced more polish, more lore, and more fun content without undermining the heart experiences that made the game show fun to Diablo Immortal Gold
start with. That all changed with the announcement of a game that was freemium.
From a fan's perspective, this backlash was kind of warranted. Blizzard broke the rule of announcing a freemium cellular game version of its hit game series. It is mostly an issue of timing.
Bethesda Softworks announced its Fallout game Fallout Shelter at precisely the exact same event as Fallout 4 throughout E3 2015. Fans of the series knew they got a new Fallout match after all the years of waiting. Fallout Shelter acted as a sort of hype generator instead trying to be the main event. Bethesda was smart enough to Diablo Immortal Gold buy
declare Fallout 4 alongside Fallout Shelter so hardcore and casual fans knew they were both getting something.
Blizzard could have, and should have, gone using the same path as Bethesda. In the end, Diablo 4 is really in the works. It might've prevented basically this entire matter by declaring Diablo 4 alongside Diablo Immortals. A faithful fanbase don't tease six years following your last title release and deliver a freemium game. Several jobs especially don't tease and then announce the one that the fanbase's hardcore section is will despise. There isn't a lot of extra analysis required. It's just not something you do.
