Stick when grab and take or post fade. Button from anywhere in near. Works for NBA 2K21 MT me but it took a little practice. Is not it harder to select your layup in case you use button? I have always struggled with these controls and utilized stick for layups. I would really like to be shooting 40% but I am blessed if I could hit 20%. I just play offline. I understand we have scrub players right now, and I am a below average player but badly even layups that are in the center of the meter aren't going in. I do not even dare to try a jump shooter. The AI appears to be absurd levels too. I know they wish to reward skill in 2k21 however this type of material is going to really put off casual gamers and those new the 2K franchise and also new to basketball matches.

I have been enjoying since 2K13 but I have never been that great of a participant. I'd say I'm average, but I know I should not be missing all these 3s. My starter players've never played with this bad in 2k16,17,18,19 and 20. The only other 2K I played 2K20 was 2K13 and that was on PC. I improved a hell of a lot in 2K20 to the point where I could go as high as Superstar without using STS. But this is a whole new level using a completely different mechanic. I did fine at the demonstration and in the quickgames using the brand new shooting meter but can not hit the side of a barn .

Only played the demo, but the stick was a great deal more reliable than button to get me. I've been a button guy also. I have a 75 3 pointer, I believe I greened one shot in like 5 nba games. . . Genuinely shooting 2/16 in an offline triple hazard game on only layups and 1 open jumpshot which airballed on slightly early. Spent $100 with this bullshit lmao. Person that the shooting is extra fine right now but that I would recommend shot timing like appearance for the que about the animation.

Yep I am having difficulty with it as well. Launched a game on My team heading 0/12 overlooking open 3s and midrange shots all around the place. I'm all for them toning shots being nearly automatic but the system seems a little bit too unforgiving so far. Hopefully will start to Buy NBA 2K Coins get better after a couple more matches of getting used to it. The game just came out and we have ta new meter using slightly different timing.
